Peania, December 6 2007 – INTRAKAT recently undertook a new telecommunications infrastructure project, following the signature of the relevant contract with FORTHNET SA.
The contract amounts to 2.2 mil euros and involves the development of the telecommunications infrastructure for broadband access network on behalf of Forthnet SA, in the Greek regional zones 6 & 7, which include the prefectures of Thessaloniki, Kavala, Drama, Xanthi, Rodopi, Evros, Xios and Lesvos. The project is included in the framework of the Society of Information Program (KtP SA), Funding of Companies for the Development of Broadband Access in the Regions of Greece and it is expected to be complete within 2008.
