Peania, February 4 2009 – INTRAKAT signed a 4.35 million euro contract with the “ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS SA” (AOSB).
The contract concerns the supply, installation and relocation of 266 Prefabricated Steel Rooms for AOSB in several areas throughout Greece. It regards light weight prefabricated rooms that will be used as schoolrooms, office space and sanitary chambers at several schools in Greece, which are expected to be delivered in one year.
This contract is within the scope of the implementation of INTRAKAT’s strategic plan re the development of the steel constructions arm of the business, where the company has gained substantial expertise and knowhow. INTRAKAT’s steel and electromechanical constructions plant in Larissa, constitutes one of the most significant plants in Greece, and is considered to be amongst the most modern facilities across Europe. It offers to domestic and international markets competitive products and top quality services via the ongoing modernization and upgrade as well as the continuous application of innovative methods.
