On Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at the central offices of INTRACOM Group in Peania a corporate presentation of INTRAKAT’s activities was held within the framework of the annual briefing of analysts on the annual financial results 2005 of the parent company INTRACOM HOLDINGS.
During the presentation, INTRAKAT was represented by the Managing Director, Mr. Petros Souretis, who among others made a brief allusion to the company’s object of activities, to the projects underway, as well as to the operational structure supporting the main core of its activities, stressing out that INTRAKAT is the only construction company in Greece which also has industrial facilities.
Mr. Souretis started the presentation referring to the company’s activities, which are performed and monitored by three independent business units: the Constructions unit, the Telecommunications Unit and the Steel Constructions unit.
With regard to the activities of the Constructions unit, Mr. Souretis pointed out that the company undertakes the implementation of infrastructure projects, athletic facilities, as well as building installations. Moreover, it was stressed that in the year 2006, INTRAKAT has signed contracts for the implementation of projects valued at euro 32 mil.
Respectively, INTRAKAT’s Telecommunications unit has signed within 2006 new contracts amounting to euro 15.19 mil. for the implementation of advanced technology telecommunications projects with major clients ΤΙΜ and Hellas On Line.
Finally, with regard to the activity of the Steel Constructions unit, it was pointed out that it has a fully verticalised structure which allows the erection of modern steel and electromechanical constructions, while the amount of signed contracts for the financial year 2006 rises to euro 5.64 mil.
At the end of the presentation, Mr. Souretis made a brief allusion to the strong client base of INTRAKAT, which constitutes the real proof of its dynamics as well as of the high quality which characterizes the projects it implements. Among the company’s clients are the Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation (ΟΤΕ), the Public Power Corporation (DEH), VODAFONE, ΤΙΜ, COSMOTE, the Hellenic Minstry for the Environment, Physical Planning & Public Works, the Secretarial General of Sport, Geniki Bank, etc.
