Steel Construction Unit

The steel construction unit extends on 15,000m2 of sheltered areas and is mainly charged with production high specifications and requirements steel products & constructions.

The entire equipment is based on CNC systems and consists of:

  • CNC lines for cutting, drilling and angle processing (Max: L200 x 30mm)
  • CNC lines for cutting, drilling and marking steel.
    • Oxyflame(Maximum steel cutting thickness 120mm. Bank dimensions 2.500 x 13.500mm)
    • Plasma (Maximum cutting thickness: Steel 25mm, Aluminum 20mm & Stainless Steel 20mm. Bank dimensions : 2.000 x 14.000mm)
  • Oxyflame CNC line for cutting & drilling steel beams (max beams: ΗΕΜ 1000)
  • OxyflameCNC line for tube cutting (Max D 815mm and length up to 18.200 mm)
  • CNC line (twoheads) forsubmerged arc weldingfor composite beams, Power (1.000A) 2 x 1.500 x 15.000 mm (height 1.700mm).
  • AutomaticCNC line(Robot) for cutting and welding (Maximum dimensions 1.500 x 27.000mm)
  • CNC hydrauliccylinderfor welding plates (Maximum dimensions L=3.000mm and thickness: 40mm).
  • CNC drilling machines of plates (max thickness 40mm)
  • ShearsL=3.000mm, cutting up to thickness: 12.7mm
  • Bending machines: L=2.000 �6.000mm
  • Hydraulic bending machine for merchant bars.
  • Welding Machines MIG-MAG, 22 machines : 5 kVA till 152 kVA.
  • Automatic primer sand blasting and painting line, width 2.500mm height 700mm.
  • Movable painting shop & Drying Chamber, dimensions 10m x 20m

The plant also has:

  • Certified procedures for welding special steels (e.g. StE690)
  • Certified systems for painting, chosen based on the environment of each construction.
  • Special area for pre-assembling of complex steel constructions.
