Hot-dip Galvanizing Unit
INTRAKAT's hot-dip galvanizing unit is one of the largest and most modern units of the field in Greece (sheltered areas 2.000m2). The galvanizing procedure stages for optimum quality of the surface coating against corrosion are in accordance with International Standards such as ISO 1461, ASTM A-123, DIN 50928, DIN 50976, BS729.
The galvanization plant consists of 11 tanks which are serviced by 7 overhead-cranes.

The zinc used in the galvanizing plant of our company is of SHG quality and 99,995 % purity.
The unit can galvanize constructions up to L14 m.
Galvanizing provides full anticorrosive protection under adverse conditions (sea, corrosive and acid environment).
Hot-dip galvanizing ensures maintenance-free construction, for the most part complete protection, durable coating, long product life, reliability and lowest long-term costs for most applications.
