Intrakat boosts its activity in the construction of metropolitan fiber optics networks over the Greek territory. The company undertook three new projects in Alexandroupoli, Lamia and Sparta, of a total budget of 4,08 mill euro

Peania, February 20, 2008 – Intrakat further enhances its activity in the construction of metropolitan fiber optics networks over the Greek territory, following the signing of three new relevant contracts with the municipalities of Alexandroupoli, Lamia and Sparta of a total budget of 4,08 mill euro (1,64 mill euro, 1,56 mill euro and 0,88 mill euro respectively).
The contracts provide for the supply, installation, commissioning and operational guarantee of the:
(a) fiber optics networks underground infrastructure,
(b) active telecommunication equipment and its connectivity to the network infrastructure and
(c) wireless and access network infrastructure

The projects involve the construction of a total of 60,22 km of fiber optic networks, of which 23,74 km in the municipality of Alexandroupoli, 19,01 km in the municipality of Lamia and 17,47 km in the municipality of Sparta.

Intrakat exploiting its high specialization, know-how and experience in the telecommunications infrastructure sector, expands its activity over Greece  and accomplishes projects characterized by consistency and quality in construction.
